
Melvin Edmondson
was born in Springfield, Ohio, studied Music and Education at the Central State University, and is looking now upon almost thirty years of singing career
He started in New York, in the mid '70 as a background singer for Harry Belafonte as well as a broadway performer, performing opposite of Rock Hudson in "On The Twentieth Century". Later on there came engagements with Quincy Jones, the Village People and Diana Ross.
In the early '80 he came to Europe and is living since then in Hamburg, Germany. His repertoire is widely spread from musicals, through jazz to gospel and blues
